Right now my two favourite formulas are the Nars Audacious and pretty much anything from Tom Ford.
When I heard about the Nars Audacious lipsticks coming out last September, I knew I had to get my hands on these beautiful creations. Obviously I couldn't stop myself at just one... I ended up with 7. Self control is certainly not a trait I have mastered. But every penny I have spent on these has been worth it. They are all extremely pigmented, creamy, and easy to apply. So without further ado...
Nars Audacious:
Anita is one of my most recent additions to collections, and needless to say I am in love. I am not a huge fan of a super nude lip. I just makes me look... dead. So this is my idea of a perfect nude.
Anna has to be my absolute favourite. It is a light mauvey-nude colour. If I was a lipstick, I would be Anna (or Pussycat, swatched later). My lips are not very pigmented, so keep in mind that these colours will pull different depending on your lips.
Audrey is hard to explain. She is not a red, or a pink. The best way to describe her would be a muted cranberry. Beautiful nonetheless.
Fanny is a bright berry pink. She is the traditional berry colour that comes to mind when you think Christmas party.
And of course how could this blog be complete without Rita who had an entire post dedicated to her.
Bette was one of the more difficult shades to work, however, with a little patience and a little lip liner she is perfection. She is a dark, sultry wine red.
Liv is the darkest colour from the line. She is described as a deep aubergine. On me she pulls a very deep purple which was very hard to capture. She is certainly a statement lip and not for the faint of heart.
Now for my other favourite. Violet Fatale took my Tom Ford virginity, and since then I just can't get enough. My bank account, however, may beg to differ. If you are going to splurge on a beauty product, make it a Tom Ford lipstick. They are absolutely worth the hype. Every time you swipe on this luxurious product you will feel like you could run the world. I have a few different formulations: a couple Lips & Boys, a couple of the standard Lip Colour, and a Lip Colour Matte.
Lips & Boys:
Tomas is a beautiful shimmery, orangey-coral. Of course it is going to look a little different on every one because of the sheerness of it. I cannot get enough of this colour and think it would look great on any skin tone.
Blake is absolutely impossible to describe. It is a shimmery copper colour, which like Tomas is also sheer. Both of these shades are so unique that I couldn't help but add them to my collection.
Tom Ford Lip Colour:
Violet Fatale is an opaque fuchsia berry. It is quite a bright colour with a hint of shimmer to it. This is the ultimate girly-girl colour.
Cherry Lush is a bright, blue-based cherry red. For a girl who loves warm red I absolutely adore this colour!
Tom Ford Lip Colour Matte:
Last, but certainly not least is Pussycat. This is my go to colour of the moment. This colour looks great with a simple eye look or a smokey eye. And like I mention before this is exactly my kind of colour - mauvey-nude.

Pussycat(left) vs. Anna(right)
Pussycat and Anna are very similar. If you have one I don't think you need the other. Anna is only every so slightly more purple in tone.
Nars Packaging vs. Tom Ford Packaging
Tom Ford Lips & Boys is collection of miniature lipsticks that retails for $32.00 compared to the $50.00 for a full sized lipstick. This is a great way to try out the formula without the huge dent in your wallet.

I was thinking of wearing Pussycat for my October wedding next year. Any liner you rec, I was thinking Chantecaille.
